The consensus in the comments though seemed to be that a person in a wheelchair shouldn’t HAVE to disclose that about themselves in their dating profile, just as there are many other things a person might not put front and center due to any number of reasons.
I'd be fine with being a FWB with someone who's sterile, but I'd want to keep myself open to meet someone who isn't.

When they're open about it on their profile it's very easy, yes. Sometimes you can't tell though, and you waste time messaging back and forth only to find out they've got a trait that immediately disqualifies them as a partner.
You might even argue that they are major factors for MOST people. My point is: there are loads of factors that someone might consider “major” when it comes to date-ability.
And yet, why should we allow filters for one thing and not another? What is a dealbreaker for you might not be a dealbreaker for someone else.
